In the heart of the Cheshire countryside sits a farm producing the finest ice cream and sorbets. Butterton’s make a wide range of flavours using only the best ingredients and milk from their own Swiss Brown Cows. Supplying many local restaurants, gastro pubs and deli’s, Butterton's were looking at how to increase sales direct to the consumer and also develop further brand awareness for commercial clients. Renew developed the brand to make a stronger, bolder word mark and designed the packaging to differentiate between the flavours.
An ecommerce website was developed to attract consumers to an online experience, with an integrated order and collection calendar. During the Coronavirus lockdown, this collection system was changed to a delivery service which resulted in a huge spike in online ordering. Following on from the success of this, Butterton’s have now opened an ice cream shop on the farm and are enjoying a sizeable social following.
The branding style was exciting and worked well across our social channels and the e-commerce website solution could not have come at a better time, generating orders though the pandemic that we would never have had otherwise.
